Hunterizer App Updated With Pennsylvania 2026–27 Waterfowl, Migratory Bird and Furbearer Seasons

See what you can hunt at your location in the Hunterizer Seasons app.

Pennsylvania hunters now have even more up-to-date hunting information at their fingertips. Hunterizer has updated the Pennsylvania section of its app with the newly approved 2026–27 seasons and regulations for waterfowl, other migratory game birds, and furbearers.

The latest update includes season dates and regulations for ducks, geese, mergansers, coots, gallinules, rails, mourning dove, woodcock, Wilson’s snipe, and other migratory game birds, as well as hunting and trapping seasons for Pennsylvania furbearers. Species covered include coyote, red and gray fox, raccoon, bobcat, fisher, mink, muskrat, beaver, river otter, opossum, striped skunk, weasel and other regulated furbearers.

Pennsylvania’s migratory game bird regulations continue to include restrictions on Sunday hunting for waterfowl and other migratory birds. While Pennsylvania has expanded Sunday hunting opportunities for many species in recent years, migratory bird hunting remains subject to federal regulations established under the Migratory Bird Treaty Act. Federal frameworks currently prohibit states from authorizing Sunday hunting for migratory game birds, which is why hunters will continue to see those restrictions reflected in Pennsylvania’s waterfowl and migratory bird seasons.

This update builds on Hunterizer’s earlier Pennsylvania 2026–27 season release, which already included big game species such as deer, black bear, elk and turkey, along with upland game birds, small game, furbearers and other hunting opportunities across the Commonwealth. Hunters can read more about that update here: https://hunterizer.com/hunterizer-app-adds-2026-27-pennsylvania-hunting-seasons-following-pgc-updates.

With the latest additions, Hunterizer now provides seasons and regulations for 42 Pennsylvania game species for 2026-27 license year. The app allows hunters to quickly see what is open to hunt on any date and at any location in the state. Each species page includes season dates, legal hunting methods, shooting hours, bag limits, license requirements, hunter orange requirements, after-harvest requirements, and other key regulations.

Pennsylvania hunters can also access interactive maps for all species zones directly within the app. This includes Wildlife Management Units (WMUs), Pennsylvania elk hunt zones, waterfowl management zones, goose zones, and other species-specific boundaries, helping hunters understand exactly where regulations apply before heading afield.

The Hunterizer app is available for iPhone and Android devices and is designed to make hunting regulations easier to understand and use in the field. Whether planning a waterfowl hunt, checking furbearer seasons, preparing for deer season, or simply finding out what is open to hunt today, Pennsylvania hunters can use Hunterizer as a single source for seasons, regulations, maps and hunting information throughout the year.
