  • Deer B License (Resident and Nonresident)
Whether you’re filling the freezer or chasing a management hunt, this one’s awarded through a special draw. Applications close June 1. Drawing happens mid-June.
  • Elk B License (Resident and Nonresident)
Like the Deer B, this tag is drawn mid-June. Application deadline: June 1.
  • Sandhill Crane (Special Drawing)
Apps open May 1 and close June 1. The drawing takes place mid-June.
  • Swan (Special Drawing)
Same as Sandhill—open May 1, close June 1, draw mid-June.

How to Apply

Applications are done online through the Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks licensing system. Double-check your choices, unit numbers, and any bonus points before submitting.
