Find a mentor directly in the Hunterizer app
As part of this partnership, Hunterizer has already rolled out a new feature that displays First Hunt Foundation mentors directly in the app.
Users can now view FHF mentors on the interactive map along with their contact information, making it easy to connect with experienced hunters who are willing to share their knowledge and help others get started.
Whether you’re preparing for your first deer hunt, want to try waterfowl hunting, or simply have questions about hunting in your area, finding a mentor has never been easier.
How to access the new feature
To see First Hunt Foundation mentors:
- Update Hunterizer to the latest version.
- Open the Map section in the app.
- Browse the location to see available First Hunt Foundation mentors and their contact information.
As additional mentors join the program, they will continue to appear on the map, expanding the network of experienced hunters available to help newcomers.
Why this matters
Learning to hunt can be overwhelming. Beyond purchasing a license, new hunters must understand seasons, legal methods of take, hunting regulations, safety, public land access, and wildlife conservation.
Hunterizer already simplifies much of that by helping users quickly find:
