Washington hunters have another reason to get ready for the upcoming season. Daily Bag limit for white-fronted geese was reduced to 6, and possession limit to 18 for most of the seasons.
Bobcat Requirements Remain in Effect
Bobcat hunters should remember that harvested animals still require pelt sealing and lower jaw submission as part of Washington’s monitoring program. These requirements remain an important component of statewide furbearer management.
Hunting Hours and Nontoxic Shot
The updated regulations also include official hunting hours for migratory birds and remind hunters that nontoxic shot is required when hunting waterfowl and other species where specified under state and federal regulations. Hunters should review species-specific requirements before heading afield.
