Welcome to Hunterizer, a service operated by Artemida Publishing Inc. (“we,” “our,” or “us”). This Privacy Policy covers our website (www.hunterizer.com), interactive map product (map.hunterizer.com), mobile applications, digital downloads, and any related services (collectively, the “Service”). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to the practices described here. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
1. Scope of Service
Hunterizer provides digital and printed hunting resources, including maps, hunting zone data, and season information. The Service helps users determine hunting regulations and available game species based on time and location. The Service is for informational purposes only. You are responsible for verifying all regulations with official state and federal wildlife agencies.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service. By using the Service, you confirm that you meet this age requirement and that all information you provide is accurate.
3. How We Collect and Use Your Personal Information
We collect personal information through the following touchpoints and for the following purposes:
- Website (www.hunterizer.com): We collect contact form submissions, newsletter sign-ups, browsing behavior, and technical data (IP address, browser type, pages visited) to operate the site, respond to inquiries, and improve content.
- Mobile App: We collect your name, email address, device identifiers, app usage metrics, and location data (with your permission) to provide zone-specific hunting information, personalize your experience, and improve app performance. Location data is used only within the app and is not sold or shared with advertisers.
- Interactive Map Product (map.hunterizer.com): We collect session data, map interactions, and approximate location to render the correct map layers and improve map usability.
- Account Flows: When you create or manage an account, we collect name, email, and authentication credentials to authenticate you, manage your subscription, and provide account-related communications.
- Subscription and Purchase Flows: When you make a purchase, billing and payment data is collected and processed by our payment processors (see Section 6). We retain order metadata (items purchased, date, amount) for fulfillment, receipts, and legal compliance.
- Analytics and Debugging: We use analytics tools, including session replay technology, to diagnose technical issues, measure performance, and improve the user experience across all parts of the Service. See Section 5 for full details.
4. Data Collection Summary
The following categories of personal information may be collected across the Service:
- Identifiers: name, email address, account username, IP address, device identifiers.
- Location Data: approximate location derived from IP address (all contexts); precise GPS location (mobile app only, with your permission). You can disable location access at any time in your device settings.
- Device and Technical Information: device type, operating system, browser type and version, app version, screen resolution.
- Usage and Interaction Data: pages visited, features used, taps, clicks, scrolling behavior, navigation paths, session duration.
- Commercial Information: products purchased, order history, subscription status.
- Communications: messages you send us via email or contact forms.
We do not use your data for cross-context behavioral advertising or sell personal information to third-party advertisers. We do not share precise location data with any third party for advertising purposes.
5. Session Replay and Product Analytics
We use product analytics tools, including session replay technology, to better understand how users interact with our website, maps, and applications, diagnose technical issues, improve usability, and develop new features. These tools may capture information about your interactions, such as pages viewed, taps, clicks, scrolling, navigation paths, device/browser information, approximate location derived from IP address, and general usage patterns.
We do not intentionally use session replay to capture payment card numbers, passwords, or other highly sensitive fields. We use masking and exclusion controls designed to prevent such information from being collected where feasible. Session replay is suppressed or masked on login pages, checkout flows, account management screens, and other forms containing sensitive inputs.
You may manage certain tracking technologies through your browser settings, our consent manager, and other privacy choices we make available. Some analytics and replay technologies may be disabled unless and until you provide consent where required by law.
6. How We Disclose Personal Information
We do not sell personal information. We share data only with service providers and partners that help us operate the Service, subject to confidentiality obligations. Categories of recipients include:
- Hosting and Cloud Providers: Infrastructure providers that store and serve our website, app, and data (e.g., cloud hosting, CDN, and database services).
- Payment Processors: Stripe, Apple, and Google process payment card and transaction data on our behalf. We do not store full card numbers. Their privacy policies govern payment data.
- Analytics and Session Replay Providers: Third-party tools that help us understand usage patterns, diagnose errors, and improve the Service. These providers process interaction and technical data as our service providers.
- Customer Support Tools: Platforms used to receive and respond to support requests. Support communications may be stored in these tools.
- Email and CRM Providers: Services used to send transactional emails (order confirmations, password resets) and, where you have opted in, marketing communications.
- Fraud and Security Providers: Services that help detect and prevent fraudulent transactions, unauthorized access, and abuse.
We may also disclose personal information when required by law, court order, or to protect the rights and safety of Artemida Publishing Inc., our users, or the public.
7. Your Choices

- Marketing Opt-Out: If you have subscribed to our newsletter or marketing emails, you may unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email we send, or by contacting us at info@hunterizer.com. Transactional emails (order confirmations, account notifications) are not affected by marketing opt-out.
- Withdrawing Consent: Where we rely on your consent to process personal data (for example, for analytics in jurisdictions that require it), you may withdraw consent at any time. Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal.

14. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Artemida Publishing Inc. shall not be liable for any damages arising from the use or inability to use the Service, including loss of data, revenue, or opportunity.
15. Termination
We may suspend or terminate access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms or to protect system integrity.
16. Security and Data Retention
We implement security measures to protect your personal information. However, no system is completely secure. You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials.
We retain personal information as long as necessary to provide the Service and comply with legal obligations. For analytics and session replay data specifically: we retain such data for a limited period based on operational need, debugging, security, and applicable legal requirements, after which it is deleted or de-identified where appropriate. Retention periods for replay data are generally no longer than 12 months unless a longer period is required for a specific legal or security purpose.
