Tragedy struck during a deer drive in Juniata County on Tuesday morning when a 26-year-old hunter lost his life after being shot. The incident occurred in Milford Township, where the victim was part of a 24-member hunting group.

As the group of “drivers” moved through the woods to push deer toward a line of waiting hunters, a buck suddenly broke through their ranks. In response, two drivers fired shots at the deer, but unfortunately, one of the shots struck the victim in the hip.
